Patricia Stewart, Veterinarian at Rockhill Pet Clinic
Patricia Stewart, DVM
Dr. Patricia Stewart has been a pet lover her entire life. As a child, she constantly read books about dogs and cats, and dreamed of devoting her life to animal care. When her family visited relatives on the farm, Patricia always enjoyed playing with the cows, chickens, pigs, and other animals. She and the farm dog, Jack, spent many hours exploring the woods together and enjoyed a very special relationship.

After graduating from Rockhurst University with a degree in Biology, Patricia proceeded to the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stewart graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine, and her dreams became a reality.

After many years of practice, Dr. Stewart remains passionate about providing her patients with the best medical care science has to offer. That commitment is put into practice at Rockhill Pet Clinic through substantial investments in state-of-the-art medical equipment not commonly available at other animal clinics. As a pet lover, Dr. Stewart understands the important place that pets have in our lives. She has devoted her life to providing compassionate care for animals while maintaining a high level of professionalism and medical expertise. She works hard to educate clients and empower them to make meaningful decisions about their pet’s care. Dr. Stewart’s personal pet is a Havanese named Hank.

Susan Vodraska, Veterinarian at Rockhill Pet Clinic

Dr. Susan Vodraska, known affectionately around Rockhill Pet Clinic as “Dr. V.,” wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 3 years old, following in the footsteps of her grandfather. She has had many cats and dogs share their lives with her, coming from various backgrounds – newborns, abandoned or surrendered pets, and shelter adoptions. This love for cats and dogs is what drives Dr. Vodraska to pursue excellence, dedicating her life to caring for animals. Dr. Vodraska passionately pursues preventive health care for pets, promoting a long and happy life for her patients.

Born in Manhattan, KS and having grown up in various Midwestern and Western states, Dr. Vodraska received a degree in animal science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 1989. Dr. Vodraska then pursued veterinary studies at Kansas State University, graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Since graduating from KSU, Dr. Vodraska has pursued continuing education in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, including acupuncture and Tui-Na massage, as well as laser therapy. Dr. Vodraska is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

In addition to Dr. Vodraska’s veterinary studies, she is also a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1985-2005. Her hobbies include quilt-making, crafting, sewing, reading, and home repair. And spending time with her family of furries at home, of course!

Sarah Miller, Veterinarian at Rockhill Pet Clinic
Sarah Miller, DVM

Dr. Sarah Miller spent her childhood and high school years in Lenexa, KS. She attended the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Marine Biology in 2007. During her senior year of college, she fell in love with veterinary medicine. She attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012. Since graduating, Dr. Miller has been in small animal practice. Her areas of special interest include dermatology, nutrition, and ultrasonography.

Dr. Miller’s personal pets include an English Cream Retriever named Malibu and a fluffy orange cat named Lincoln. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and three wonderful kids, read, and travel to the ocean.
